Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

In uncertain time a person's thinking can become rigid and a person can move into a state of looped thinking including:

  • heightened worry
  • lack of emotional availability
  • anxiety
  • emotional distress

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs describes a set of needs required for survival and growth.

Basic needs form the foundation, it is only once these basic needs are met higher needs can be achieved.


OUR STORY

Where we started ...

In early 2022 a community initiative known as 'Packed with Care' was created to provide access to essential items via care packs for parents and caregivers caring for a child in hospital. 


The intention behind these care packs was to  allow parents/caregivers access to food and self care items providing an unspoken gesture of support in uncertain times. 

The future is bright ....

Building from the community initiative .....


The Packed With Care Foundation is a registered charity focusing on advancing the physical and mental health of children and young people. 


Aiming to provide continuity of care, keeping children and young people at the centre of all evidenced based programs, support and resources for parents, children, young people, schools and communities. 


We look forward to expanding our support, this is only just the beginning.
